It is rich in minerals and has refreshing jungles, and soothing rivers like Hooghly and Testa that can offer you the perfect escape from the humdrum of your busy life. Not only is Bengal richly diverse in geography the same can be said about the culture and traditions.

The Bengalis have still held on to the traditions despite the change and modernization that has swept across the globe. It’s a perfect blend of modernity and traditions which form a line from Mahabharata to Mujib.

The capital of Bengal Kolkata is a rich source of history and is known for its charismatic beauty. The crowded new market is a destination for a great variety of things. The architectural wonder of the Victoria memorial is one of the famous tourist attractions. Nowhere in the world can u get a ride in a rickshaw pulled by a man, but in Kolkata.

West Bengal is a foodie’s paradise. Its rich variety in delicacies from macher jhal to famous rosogulla to tangy phucka and a variety of street food like egg rolls, chops chowmeins are just enough to lure you into the streets. Not only are they tasty but are extremely cheap and they won’t be a burden to your pocket while traveling.

If you are a photographic enthusiast west Bengal is truly a paradise for you. The beautiful snowy hills of Darjeeling and Mirik the calm beaches of Digha and Mandarmoni to the dark dense deep forests of North Bengal will give you all that you have been looking for till now.

The dense forests of Chilapata, Lataguri, and Sundarban give you an opportunity to stay in the lap of nature and feel its soothing effect of it. Just sitting on the banks of river murti and looking at the star-studded sky is an experience that is priceless!

There are airports, railway stations and car services available and no matter where you are, you can reach here as and when you want. The best time to visit Bengal is from the month of October to April. you can witness the grand celebration of the Durga puja at every corner of Bengal in April.

It is a paradise for travelers and for people who just want an escape from the mechanical life, it brings you back to nature to your roots.
